Picturesque vineyards, romantic chateaus and outstanding food – France’s wine regions offer a truly magical experience. Wine lovers of Hong Kong, get ready to relish the French wine culture and lifestyle in the heart of Soho at Figaro, the newest addition to the ever-growing dining scene off Hollywood Road. A trés chic and unique gastro-wine bar, Figaro is about to become your favourite nook for fine food, fine wine, and great vibes.
Borrowing its name from a centuries-old romantic hero created by Pierre Beaumarchais, the story of Figaro began with two Mediterranean foodie friends, who had big appetites and even bigger dreams. Of course, opening a restaurant didn’t come without its difficulties and pitfalls. The biggest challenge was to make authentic French cuisine accessible to a new and larger audience, without skimping on quality.
Located on the Shin Hing steps between Hollywood Road and Gough Street, Figaro is spread out over 2 floors with a bar on the ground floor and a casual restaurant on the 1st floor. The drinks menu focuses strongly on French wines with over 2,200 bottles in collection at the wine cellar, all originated from France’s famous Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Rhone Valley wine regions.
Figaro is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday – Friday with weekend brunch served on Saturdays and Sundays (closed on Mondays).
