The 3,000 square foot venue, located on the same level as the recently unveiled 37 Steakhouse & Bar, another concept by The Food Story group, Mina House takes its name from the Japanese word for ‘everyone’, and offers diners of all persuasions and appetites an innovative and enticing menu of thoroughly Instagrammable dishes.
In addition to a street-level kiosk serving takeaway bites, refreshments and a curated selection of signature beverages, Mina House’s main dining room, which is aglow in honey-hued timber, with touches of ivy green, caters to 70 guests. Designed by acclaimed Japanese artist Yasumichi Morita, who also designed the adjacent 37 Steakhouse & Bar, Mina House is a space where light is used to create a sense of depth and texture, thanks to subtle recesses in the timber ceiling. Functionality also meets form at Mina House’s entrance, where Morita, whose works run the gamut from the ISETAN The Japan Store Kuala Lumpur; and the stunning W Hotel Hong Kong; to his first monograph Glamorous Philosophy No. 1; and his acclaimed solo photo exhibition, Porcelain Nude, held annually in Paris, has created a striking shopfront display.
