WTF? It's not what you think. It's all about Wine, Tapas, and Fun!
If you are looking for traditional Spanish tapas in a relaxed, modern space, you will want to meet your friends at WTF.
The food menu features a wide assortment of hot and cold tapas including meats, cheeses, seafood, and vegetarian-friendly options. There are also soups, paella, and desserts. The drink menu features sangrias and wines that are designed to complement whatever tapas you order.
We get into a Spanish mood by ordering Sangria. WTF's chilled red wine with chopped fruit is light, refreshing, and pairs well with the large assortment of tapas we inevitably order.
To get started, we like the extra crunchy spears of Garlic Bread rubbed in garlic and drizzled with fresh basil. Unlike more traditional cuts, the long, thin wedges of tasty bread are easy to eat. Bread needs meat and we love the Chorizo con Tomate, which features thinly sliced chorizo sautéed with chunks of garlic, fresh-sliced plum tomatoes and topped with basil.
For seafood lovers, there is Gambas Pil Pil with juicy plump prawns delivered in a sizzling pan of olive oil, garlic, and a hint of chili.
And although it is the most traditional tapas, WTF still manages to make their Tortilla Espagnola impressive with its thick, moist, flavorful blend of potatoes, onions, and manchego cheese.
It is easy to make a full meal out of a WTF experience.
