Attention Attention!  2011’s groundbreaking Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival is upon us! Brace yourselves, the award winning 2-day music and arts festival - Hong Kong’s answer to Fuji Rock, Summer Sonic & Reading, returns bigger and better than ever!

Hong Kong has never seen a festival of this scale or calibre, positioned virtually in the middle of the harbour at the much anticipated West Kowloon Cultural District. Festival attendees will be emersed in music, film and art with the most spectacular view that Hong Kong has to offer. This year’s attendance is expected to exceed 12,000 people over the duration of the weekend.

“The first three Clockenflap's have been hugely successful,” says Festival director Mike Hill. “And this year sees the natural growth of the festival in terms of scale, attendance and line-up. We are working closely with the British Council to make this years event truly outstanding and West Kowloon provides the perfect setting”
Clockenflap 2011 is a free event but the site has limited capacity. Attendees need to register for a free pass on and need to be aware that due to safety reasons this does not guarantee entry and people are recommended to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival will feature two large outdoor stages, 2 electronic stages, an acoustic stage, an international film tent, live-art installations, a kiddies play area, chill-out bar areas, an exclusive VIP lounge, international cuisine and much much more - all delivered with Clockenflap’s trademark silliness.

The message from organisers is simple: come along and eat, drink and be merry!

“We’re urging everyone that comes to please support the cause by buying food and drinks on site,” says Festival Director, Jay Forster.  “By offering free entry, we hope to encourage more people to come out and enjoy the festival experience, though we do also need the community’s support to contribute to covering the hard costs of putting on this scale of event and to let us know that there is the demand to go even bigger and better next year.”

What’s more, there’s the added feel-good factor of donating to charity through each purchase on site.  Clockenflap is a not-for-profit event, with 100% of all profits donated directly to charity.

Clockenflap 2011 is supported by our organising partner the British Council, and our official beer sponsor San Miguel.
