About Future Disco
Future Disco began in 2009 with a compilation entitled ‘A Guide to 21st Century Disco’. Since then Future Disco has gone on to release eight compilations and host events in every corner of the globe, whether it be Dubai, Estonia, Helsinki, Singapore or Amsterdam, Future Disco has brought a unique take on house to some of the worlds best venues.
Starting with the compilation series, what makes a Future Disco album so special? Well, each one is re-edited and retouched so you get a totally new experience: even if you know the tracks they won’t all sound the same on a Future Disco album. The selection is also a solid indicator of what’s happening on today’s dance floors. Often recognizing producers who go on to conquer the world, checking back on those early compilations and you will find Tensnake, Aeroplane and Mario Basanov, alongside remixes of bands like Friendly Fires and Metronomy. A clear indication of what was in store was when iTunes named Future Disco Volume 2 its Dance album of the year. The first time a compilation had been given the title is both a testament to the wide appeal and cutting edge nature of the album. You will also find the sub series of Poolside Sounds, a daytime take on the concept that explores those long summer days and party nights, available on iTunes. The most recent compilation in the Future Disco family is All Day Dancing a selection of the melodic house & techno which dominated open air dance floors in the summer of 2014.
The albums are only half the story with Future Disco events taking place each month in locations worldwide. For 5 year each Summer Future Disco has taken residency at Space Ibiza, constantly named one of the best clubs in the world at Carl Cox’s event, one of the longest running and most loved nights on the island. Thousands of people dancing to names such as; Maxxi Soundsystem, Huxley, Ben Pearce , The Revenge, Kim Ann Foxman, alongside resident Sean Brosnan.
In the birthplace of London, Future Disco delivers nights in the capital’s best venues including parties at Corsica Studios that have featured names such as Benoit & Sergio, The Mekanism and Juan Maclean.
Then theres the festivals, Future Disco has partnered with some of the most loved festivals in Europe to host stages and parties including The Garden Festival, Gottwood, Snowboxx, Unknown and Lovebox.
So the future of Future Disco? One thing is for certain: it will continue to map out the sounds of current dance floors in 2015, with more albums, competitions and of course the monthly radio show which has featured some of the most exciting house, techno and disco artists around including HNNY, Detroit Swindle, Mark E, Session Victimand the legendary Groove Armada.

Downtown Party Network might once have been a short yet magical period of New York City nightlife. Today the name stands for music from another side of the world, an entity combined of experiences, influences, events, trips and adventures in music that have come together during the last 15 years.
Downtown Party Network’s music has been signed by Dirt Crew, Futureboogie, Silence Music, Get Physical Music, Eskimo Recordings, Noir, Needwant, Compost, Future Classic, Best Kept Secret, Anjunadeep to name a few. The releases have been favorited by Laurent Garnier, Groove Armada, Tensnake, Dixon, Ame, Aeroplane, Jamie Jones, Sasha and many others.
Downtown Party Network has been established in the remix world as well, and has presented swell versions of tracks by Kolombo, Sander Kleinenberg featuring Jamie Cullum, Mario Basanov etc.
‘Space Me Out’, released in October 2013 by Silence Music, became one of the most charted tracks on Resident Advisor in 2013, by far the most important electronic music platform in the world. Mario Basanov, Hannes Fischer and Musk accompanied the original track with brilliant remixes. Each of them received a significant amount of attention, as well as a melodramatic music video that was filmed in spooky Lithuanian nature.
2014 began with a 10” vinyl and digital release ‘In The Air / Call On Me’ on the Berlin-based house label Dirt Crew. A pace for the summer was set by ‘Disco Ball Drama’, a release on Futureboogie Recordings. Also a new version of ‘Space Me Out’ was revamped and presented exclusively on ‘Deep House Amsterdam’ just before ADE and a brand new remix of the worldwide hit, crafted by the legendary producer Ewan Pearson, has been included in the vinyl and digital release for the 5th anniversary of Silence Music.
San Francisco’s OM Records released Downtown Party Network’ remix of ‘All Night’ by Sleight Of Hands on their compilation ‘Architects & Waves’. And the new remix for Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation was presented early this summer.
Also in the news: ‘Space Me Out’ was released in autumn of 2015 on Anjunadeep label with new remixes. And a new track ‘Inch of Light’ was released on german Dirt Crew imprint.
Downtown Party Network’ gig geography ranges from London to Berlin, Moscow to Dubai and San Fransisco to Playa Del Carmen.
