Feed your obsession for all things Korean and Mexican at Jinjuu’s newest Taco & Tequila Tuesdays, featuring delicious tacos to pair with tequila cocktails by resident Mexican bar manager Edgar Santillan. Following on the huge success of its ‘Korexican’ Cinco de Mayo celebrations last month, Jinjuu is ready to wreak the same havoc not just once a year, but every single week from 6pm ‘til close.
Tacos, cocktails and beats by a live weekly DJ to keep you grooving into the night - what more could you ask for on an otherwise drab Tuesday evening? Guests can opt for tacos (2 piece per serving) on the existing a la carte menu such as Bulgogi Beef Taco (HK$145), Iberico Pork Belly Taco (HK$135), Sustainable Pacific Tuna Tacos (HK$160 or Mushroom Tacos (HK$105). By choosing Jinjuu’s a la carte taco combo at HK$200 + 10%, guests can enjoy a selected complimentary cocktail on the house.
The Taco Tuesday-exclusive menu also includes butter-poached Canadian Lobster Taco (HK$200) served with taro chips & ssamjang mayo, and superior grade 9 grilled Hanwoo Beef Taco (HK$250) with shoestring fries and kimchi bearnaise – to name a few.
Savor with Head Mixologist, Mexican Edgar Santillan’s cocktails for a match made in heaven, including the sour and light Pucca Margarita, sweet and sour Sokcho served in a classy coupette, icy-fresh Mad Kim, and for the serious party animals, Garu says Hello – which is basically a shot of soju, a shot of tequila, and a kimchi sangria chaser shot. Bottoms up and all cocktails are priced at HK$90.


Premium tacos
Lobster Taco: $200
Description: Butter poached Canadian lobster, celery, baby gem lettuce, jalapeños, chopped tomatoes, taro chips & ssamjang mayonnaise.
Hanwoo Beef Taco: $250
Description: Grilled superior grade 9 Hanwoo Korean beef, watercress, red onion, dill pickle, chopped tomatoes, shoestring fries & kimchi bearnaise.
USDA Short Rib Taco: $200
Description: Pulled USDA beef short rib, chipotle , Scottish cheddar cheese, sour cream, avocado, pickled jalapeños & the works.
Pucca Margarita:
Ingredients: Hwayo 25, Ocho tequila, lime juice, merlet triple sec,
ginger cordial
Basic profile: Sour and light, served with cubed ice in a rock glass.
Ingredients: Hwayo 25, Ocho tequila, lemon juice, kiwi juice, coconut syrup, egg white, grapefruit bitters.
Basic profile: A sweet and sour, served in a coupette.
Mad Kim:
Ingredients: Hwayo 25, Ocho tequila, lemon juice, agave syrup, grapefruit juice, aloe vera juice, plum bitters.
Basic profile: Refreshing and balanced, served in a sling glass with cubed ice.
