Come and try the first craft beer from Vietnam available in Hong Kong on July 28th 2016 at TAP - The Ale Project. Be among the first to taste the award-winning beers from Pasteur Street Brewing Co. Taking over the taps for this one-night-only event will be:
1) IPA - 6.5% ABV - Pasteur Street IPA is an American 'West Coast' style IPA. It has a light golden color and a bready malt flavor but this beer is all about the hops. We use excessive amounts of American hops which give this beer its distinct aroma of citrus, pine, and tropical fruits. This hop aroma is complemented by a clean, bitter finish and medium body.
2) Pale Ale - 7.0% ABV - Our Saison is an award-winning brew using a strain of yeast that has a very spicy aroma. When we brew this beer we also add Phu Quoc black pepper, ginger, and lemongrass to complement the naturally phenolic aroma created by the yeast. While most beers are brewed using malted barley, this beer is brewed with malted wheat as well; this lends a light wheat flavor that pairs well with the dry finish.
3) Witbier - 5% ABV - This award-winning beer is based on the American wheat ale. It is a style that is brewed to be light, refreshing, and clean. PSBC Passionfruit Wheat Ale is made using fresh passionfruit, and a lot of it. The light, crisp body and low hop aroma are perfect to highlight the fruit flavors.
4) Porter - 6.9% ABV - A classic English style Porter brewed with fresh Coconuts from Ben Tre that we toast in house. The result is an assertive beer with a coconut aroma and flavor that balance the Porter's roasted malts.
As guests of Red Mill at the event, you can taste all 4 beers between 5pm and 8pm for free (150ml measures)
