We are back next week with an Olympic line up of comedians at Tipping Point. There are no silver or bronze medallist here all these comics are Gold!!
On the starting blocks representing and bringing stellar comedy to Hong Kong are
Chris Musni - He got his start in stand up living in Hong Kong. Originally from San Francisco, he decided to make the move to Asia so that he could figure things out on his own, or as he describes it ‘grow up.’ After living here for a year he happened upon a comedy club in the city and got to work. He’s been enjoying making fun of everything he comes into contact with ever since.
Andrew Chu - performs stand up comedy in both Chinese and English. Andrew is winner of Hong Kong International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Competition. He has performed around Asia, Denmark and Australia.
Pete Grella - is a Hong Kong-based stand-up comedian and improviser who has been cutting up audiences around Asia for over seven years. In addition to being a regular performer in Hong Kong, Pete has performed in New York City, Shanghai, Beijing, Manila, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Singapore, Seoul and at the MGM Macau. He has also hosted or opened for a long list of visiting international comics, including Tom Cotter, Paul Ogata, Tom Segura, Ruben Paul, Barry Hilton and Ari Shaffir. Pete’s sets often dissect life as an expat (and just trying to fit in, in general), though he’s never afraid to poke fun at himself and his own bad habits. He also likes to engage the audience, so if you're sitting up front, be ready to chat!
MC Jason Strickland - the less said about him the better.
Show starts 8.30pm. Entrance fee 100hkd
